Committees

The Events Committee plans and delivers Section sponsored technical and networking events by organizing speakers and programs that support the Section’s objectives, and by securing venues and locations for each event.

The Communications Committee prepares and executes the Section’s annual communications plan and supports consistent, timely communication with members and the broader plastics community.

The Newsletter and Website Sub-Committee manages the content and publication of the Section newsletter and maintains the website’s appearance, functionality, and content to keep members informed and engaged.

The Public Relations Sub-Committee manages the Section’s external communications, including the Section’s online presence and social media, to promote events, share updates, and strengthen visibility in the community.

The Membership Committee is responsible for promoting the SPE Southern Section and the Society to local plastics professionals and students. The committee focuses on recruiting new members, retaining current members, and supporting the continued growth and engagement of the Section’s membership.
